To Reserve: Call 800-217-7660 or 801-734-9345

Join Dave Hadlock on an exotic Western Caribbean Cruise. Watch as the scriptures come to life through the instruction that takes place on the boat and on the shore excursions. Dave will instruct on the Book of Mormon and its correlations, both geographical and theological to the areas we will be visiting — drawing comparisons between the Old World and the New World. This Book of Mormon Cruise will allow us to see Maya ruins from the ports of Belize City, Costa Maya and Cozumel. Spend one day relaxing in the suns as we visit the Bahamas. See the amazing ruins of Lamanai after speed-boating down the New River in Belize. Discover the beautiful and peaceful setting of Tulum at the port of Cozumel. In Costa Maya, see the ruins of Chacchoben and visit a local school (you can bring along school supplies to donate if you would like). Don’t miss this opportunity to travel with Dave Hadlock and a fun LDS group. This is a fun ship with a great itinerary and an experience not to be missed.

Carnival Glory: carnival-legend.jpg The 2,974-passenger, 110,000-ton Carnival Glory, the second in Carnival’s Conquest class, is a colorful ship in more ways than one. With each public room celebrating a different shade of color, this ship takes the “rainbow connection” to a whole new level. Onboard Carnival Glory, passengers will find a lively atmosphere. Overall, Carnival Glory’s biggest strength is its appeal to a wide variety of travelers, from families and groups to couples.

Costa Maya: Chacchoben & School: From the port of Costa Maya, we will first go to the ruins of Chacchoben, which was believed to be settled as early as 200 BC, with ruins dating back to 700 AD. Following our visit to the ruins, we will go to Mahujal, a tiny fishing village near the port. Here we will visit a local school, relax on the beach and have lunch. ($105 - $5 cash discount)

lamanai_high_temple_sml.jpgLamanai Ruins: Take an exciting speedboat ride down the New River to get to the amazing Maya ruins of Lamanai. These ruins date back to the Book of Mormon time period. Climb the huge temples, search for howler monkeys or just enjoy the beautiful jungle setting ($115 - $5 cash discount).

tulum.jpgTulum Ruins: From Cozumel see one of the most famous and beautiful of the Maya sites. Tulum sits atop a cliff overlooking the ocean–the setting is surreal. Our local LDS guides will discuss the place of Tulum in ancient Mesoamerica. ($110 — $5 cash discount).

Nassau, Bahamas: TBA

All Shore Excursions are optional and may be purchased separate from the cruise rate.

Speakers/Guides:

dave-hadlock.jpgDave Hadlock: Dave has completed the course work at BYU for a master’s degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies. His passion is the study of Old World culture, language, and ritual. This background helps provide for interesting parallels that can be seen both in the Book of Mormon and also in the beliefs of the ancient inhabitants of Mesoamerica, the proposed lands of the Book of Mormon. He has conducted many cruises and tours through Mexico and the proposed Book of Mormon lands. He has taught many years of gospel doctrine and has taught institute classes. He is a board member of the Book of Mormon Archaeological Forum.
